Welcome to 7th Grade Life Science
My name is Ms. Karen Bell. I have been placed in a unique position to impact the educational achievements and goals of our communities’ middle school learners while inspiring them in all aspects of their lives through my love of science. Teaching is one of those careers where you learn something every day and my principal goal is to completely deliver the knowledge of science to our learners so that they can be the best effective and efficient learners they can be.
"The whole of science is nothing more than a refinement of everyday thinking."
-Albert Einstein
Ms. Karen Bell
Greetings,
My name is Ms. Bell, I am a seventh-grade life science teacher and grade level chair at McDonough Middle School in Henry County, Georgia. Born in Manhattan, New York, and rooted in Georgia. I graduated from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, where I earned a Bachelor of Science and later completed a Master of Health Services from Strayer University, in Washington, D.C. I have three daughters, a son-in-law, and two grandsons, whom I adore very much. I have worked in nursing for over 20 years and after several years of volunteering/mentoring children in education, I decided it was time to move into the classroom. In addition, I am a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Iota Phi Lambda Business Sorority, Incorporated, and NCNW.
I am looking forward to a wonderful and productive year, and always know that ALL parents are welcome!!
